Hey, I wanted to find out your guys opinions on this SS DT I made (retired now). He is more of a pass rush first but not a slouch on the run. The onething I didn't account for is the SS extra points they get I used the base 209,000 sp points.

For SA's I was thinking gold on spin cycle after that idk.


Whatdya think?

Also gonna use all 3 cap booster for conditioning so it will be higher than 34

Conditioning too low imo. I'm leaning towards having S*s built to be on for every snap they can be. Also seems like there's no area he's going to be dominant in, any O-lineman that has specialised in one area will dominate him all game (ie he won't be that useful against 90% throw/run teams). That being said I'm shit at building on the defensive side of the ball!

so you didn't take into account the 20% discount on skills either or higher caps?

He's fast but lacks the abillity to consistenly break blocks on pass to really use his speed, and speed is not usefull if you lack durability which you got less then an average non S*. also any team that got a run blocking G or C, will probally cake him a lot and he will be easy to spiral out of energy and moral. Your tackling is pretty low i got non S* with higher tackling that got issues tackling HB's

I would say that he probally will be great against crappy non rush teams and useless against run and good passing teams

the only viable way to use him would be as a second DT and unless i got a S* DT i wouldn't want to use wage on him, when i can make a non S* that can do the main DT job better then him

in short i think you have spread out soo much that you aren't really great at any job, well except running in a straight line

In my opinion his pass rush tech cap is too low to be that great of a pass rush specialist, and his toughness is way too low. Even the best block shedding DTs are going to be spending a ton of time engaged in blocks and high intim O-lineman will eat up his morale and energy fast. Id worry a lot more about toughness then conditioning unless hes playing ST or something.
