Anyone else feel that Seasoned is the most boring tier? I wish it wasn't, but when you look for ladder tier talk, we're always the last down the line.

We rarely play each other in ladder games now.

Ya - seasoned seems to be the red headed step child in terms of interest. We're just too far in the middle - ran out of the rookie/soph rivalries as people quit -- and not quite on the heels of top journeyman and pro teams --- we're just in the middle.

Add in that discussion activity is going to depend heavily on the personalities of those involved. We've generally got a quiet group. How many of our Soph threads last season would have been dead and empty without Xav's schtick to keep them lively and interesting?

One more reason we should all feel bad that we forced Yorick to fold because we beat them too badly too often.

In that vein - I'm pretty surprised at Victorious Secrets poor season so far -- maybe the fact that they got to beat Yorick like 7 times last season in ladder games was like giving them a bye into the top 3?

I'm just not a smack talk kind of guy, which is good, because I'm about to get my ass handed to me by a pro team. Well, I guess that win streak was nice while it lasted.

It's been pretty hard to like this game. I despair of ever having a sim engine that actually acts reasonably like football, and I have exactly zero hope that those issues will be resolved soon or ever resolved fairly or competently. The times I've dared to suggest improvements in GLB or GLB2, I've been ridiculed and shot down, and I've seen enough chickenshit comments from the community at large to fill a small book. I'm figuring I'm just a poor fit here. Not much else to do but build toons and find my own way out of here.

part of the problem is we arent blitzing nearly as much as we used to despite having two stud blitzing lbs and some chemistry issues

edit: oh and rattled making blitzes a lot less effective past the sophomore level unless you are built for it

I was worried when I caught them in ladder, and it turned out to be the weakest defense I've faced all year outside of CPU.

As predicted, got raped. Awesome.

Took a sizable ladder rank hit for that too, -5. Not really sure this is a true Elo system - and still don't know why a 6-5 Pro team would be down at #70 in the first place, much less why my seasoned team was set to play them.
