It's super stat heavy as opposed to competition weighting. I noticed this with MVP rankings as well, specifically in regards to ST stats being accrued against CPU teams.

yeah, but everyone plays that CPU in league, so only the 3 division teams have an advantage

8 td's to 1 int against New Jersey this season. Really didn't even play that terribly against you guys either. Mostly just qcbc which was largely due to our morale getting worked by his running game.
