As I get more interested in this ladder the more I feel the need to do something a bit extra so I decided to make a mini ladder ranking news post before the matchups. The number in the first set of parenthesis indicate last weeks ladder ranking and the second set of parenthesis is the gain or drop in overall ladder ranking.

Thoughts

Hawaii and Salty still have a commanding lead of first and second which I believe will be safe at least for 3-4 ladder games outside that though 3-15 are all up for grabs. Salty gets screwed again getting a very good Iowa Rogues team. Glasgow gets punished for the cpu team and gets a 5-0 surging pro team. Vase breakers get a team Air Raid beat up on. Andes finally gets a pro team to face. Pelicans get a team that has come out of nowhere and they run the ball very well. cabos turn for the cpu and DDAY gets some doomsday japanese robots who have beaten two weaker journeyman teams

Edit: ill probably start doing my ladder threads this way where I do the ladder update the night the match ups are posted and then the matchups the next day.

The Hookers got unlucky this week pulling a Hawaii team confidently beating pro teams while the Hookers aren't having the same success but are still a strong team but I expect Hawaii all the way

#2 The Salty Runback vs #13(pro)Iowa Rogues

It feels like GLB doesnt want salty to have that 1 spot back giving them a really good Iowa team that I dont think Salty can win this one but they will probably put up one hell of a fight anfd keep it close

#3 Yorickshire Vase Breakers vs #33(pro) Warsaw Wrath
Air Raid beat them and I expect Vase Breakers to do the same

#4 Glasgow Rangers vs 28(pro) Hub City Hustlers
This is what happens when you get 3 ladder spots for beating on a cpu team. You get a 5-0 pro team whos looking pretty good. I love what Glasgow has been doing but can they beat a team this hot? Especially since Hub is a heavy run team. I think glasgow loses a heart breaker here as the just have issues tackling hubs triple halfback attack

#5 Harrisonburg Bulldogs vs #49(pro) Corning Cows

Harrisonburg looks great this season and the cows not so much. I expect the Bulldogs to cruuise in this one

#7 Air Raid vs #36(pro) San Jose Dragons

Air Raid is looking a bit flat this season and they get a good running pro team. This has all the nightmares of a loss for Air Raid until they can get both its offense and defense on the same page for a game as lately they get one or the other and they need to excel at both to win.

36-30 San Jose

#8 Lost Lounge vs #44(pro) Chicago Monsters of Midway
Lost Lounge has been a shell of itself this season and they get what looks like a decent pro team with a balanced attack. Once again like Air Raid they need to fix it fast or they are gunna drop and maybe even out of the top 10

#9 Cobra Kai vs 73(pro) OffTopica Faith
Cobra gets its shot at a pro team this week too after a super close loss to Lost Lounge I expect Cobra to handle this team to avoid falling down the ladder.

28-24 Cobra Kai

#10 Andes Chinchillas vs 68(pro) Faber Animals
Andes took some lumps last ladder when its defense got smacked pretty hard vs the still potent Berkeley offense. However Faber looks pretty flat this season and I think Paul M has learn to stick what we are good at instead of getting fancy on offense

27-13 Andes

#11 Louisiana Screaming Pelicans vs #53(pro) Burning Up My Flex

The Pelicans got screwed this week. They get a pro team who runs and they are pretty damn good at it too. I couldn't stop them vs Dakota and I feel Pelicans will have to sell out vs the run to stand a chance but they could be burned through the air because of it.

#12 Berkeley Bowlers vs #78 Hollywood Knights

Berkeley won last time but i think the innactivity gets them this time

14-7 Hollywood

#13 Los Cabos Sharks vs Bloodless Brotherhood(pro/cpu)

Im lazy because its a cpu team, Glasgow blew them up and Cabos should too

40-12 Cabos

#14 DADDY vs #85 Robot Lords Of Tokyo

Daddy gets team that is 4-1 but have only beaten on some average journeyman teams and daddy has looked resolved in getting into the top ten so I'm giving them this one

28-24 DADDY

#15 Sacramento Hornets vs 59(pro) Tampa Bay Scorpions

How has Sacramento stayed in the top 15 at 1-4 is depressing least they get a team that could only barely beat a cpu team. Will they botch this gift or will they start righting the ship?
