The reminder that teams expire popped up in early June. That gave almost a full month to renew. That's plenty of time.

I wish I'd have known the team I OC for was set to expire, I would have talked to support about it being transferred to me. But instead now it's all done for, can't even say goodbye to the players/agents because the forum is gone. It's like a nightmare scenario, I can't even try to gather up the pieces and put them back on a new team because you can only buy rook teams.
So as teams fold naturally we continue to pile up players to the point where professional market is flooded beyond belief and players have less and less chance of getting on a team due to this. I guess the answer is to retire them, but after such a sour experience who wants to start it all over again?
The game is too inflexible in this area, it's rather annoying.

Ownership needs to be able to be extended multiple seasons at once because I have twice missed out on re upping my team and my buddy has as well. Got lucky last night that bort and Corndog seen that the team wasn't re upped but everyone was signed or would have had another disaster today.
So that means you'll only screw up once every two or three seasons instead of every season?

I should have an idea just by looking at the calendar when my team will expire.
The seasons not even over yet but my team has already been revoked from me? I mean come on...

I believe they are revoked before the off season so you don't have teams that are going to fold signing players.

Well I mean if an inbox were sent that my team was going to expire I would probably up them. Still season to season has already shown to fuck with so many people already.

The current system leaves a possibility of screwing over its users, and any and ever opportunity to screw over your userbase should be prevented against 100%. It's just ridiculous that the system works in a counter intuitive way.

In GLB Classic teams expire on Day 40. The season doesn't end until Day 48. This is nothing new.
GLB Classic has a built-in mechanism to handle stuff like this. It is called day 41. The majority of GLB users can't stand Day 41.

box wasn't ignored. But the fact that one doesn't know when the teams will be revoked is the problem.

Auto Renew didn't work the first 2 seasons but it does now. That is what screwed me the first two seasons.

...did they take away the "team expiring" alert? 2 seasons ago, I got messages for the last full week (7 days) reminding me to renew.
