General
New defensive plays! Several cover 3 and cover 6 plays for man coverage.

Ladder changes! Rookies will always play rookies, sophomores will always play sophomores, then after that it is free reign. Also, should see a better variance between top teams.

Sim Stuff

Man Coverage
- Facing angle changed from "toward QB" to more horizontal.
- Opening up now has a slightly smaller threshold.

Zone Coverage
- Too many tweaks to list entirely. All of the priority values changed, fixed a couple logic errors.

Passing
- QBs can now hold in blockers with a minimum of 5 blitzers instead of 6.
- QB Pass Power has a larger role in pass quality for longer passes.
- QBs now have a "rattled" mechanic. The more often you are getting hurried and sacked, the more rattled your QB becomes. The more rattled the QB, the more likely he is to hold in blockers regardless of blitzers.

Blocking
- Tweaked blitz pick up logic so that players are less likely to get confused and bounce between players

Might this mean zones are viable? In the season when I decide to DC and told everyone to build for man coverage?

Should be interesting!

I guess the 'hold in blockers' is an answer to middle overload? So now will blitzes be even less useful past rookie / first half sophomore? Will be interesting to see.

Glad pass power means something.

rattled mechanic seems interesting.

coverage changes (in man) can't wait to see if the 4 WR stuff has been improved...

Don't jump the gun.

They might even be more useless than before. Really need all the feedback I can get on it. Only so much testing you can do with randomly generated teams on a server that crashes after 2-3 plays.

Ouch. How many teams can even test it with zone built guys?

That's a great point.

I'm sure there's a few, and some that could at least roll with the 20-30 whatever zone awareness.

I'm gonna set up some games on Dookie and see how bad it looks.

But testing it with guys with 20-30 zone aware isn't going to show us anything...unless zone d is now overpowered!

It will be a lot more interesting than watching some randomly generated journeyman FS run around with 21 sprinting, 24 deflecting, and 98 snap reaction.

I can see that.

Would be kind of nice if there was a "test league" at each level.

Choose specific agents to run those specific single agent teams.

All builds open in that league.

No private scrims

And every player gets a free full re-spec every season in order to test this stuff.

I could've tested it 2 seasons ago

any seasoned Passing team open for scrims?

Seems like the middle overload graphic changed as well (?)

Now a solid line under the FS meaning (I guess) he won't step forward?

Means man coverage without moving.
