i am guessing you need balance to make sharp cuts.. but its just a theory as of now

Corndog has made some comments when players freeze that it may be to loss of balance. Not sure what to think of it though.

Corndog looks for unpopular skills and blames all defensive sim problems on the lack of them.
Quickness... diving... footwork... now Balance... When dumping a shitton of skills into that doesn't fix the problem, Corndog finds a new scapegoat.

Balance may allow quicker reaction times when ball is released which could cause more int's ???
I only ask this due to the pick six SA needing balance to be powered.

Pick Six SA is in order to make you not fall down on the INT. Much like Catch In Stride for offense. Pick Six fires after the INT, not before.

I don't know if I would say balance doesn't mean much. Still serves its purpose in the run game. Still probably serves some purpose in coverage. Still serves its purpose post INT.

I imagine that if you try and make a hard cut and fail, going off balance would cause some of the freezing issues. I seem to remember Bort or Corn saying that being off balance makes everything tougher.
