I'm bored and got nothing to do so I decided to make some league power rankings. There are descriptions under the teams I bothered to care about. There is no algorithm or anything just me thinking what I think and shouting my opinion even if no one is listening. I'll do these every so often I think.

1) Baltimore Bulldogs
Best team in this league hands down. No debate what so ever about these guys. Its the Bulldogs championship to lose right now and they have a great grasp on it. They are in the weakest division so with some cupcake matchups down the road these guys may flirt with a 0 or 1 loss season.

2) North Korean Slim Kims
Yes these are very biased. But North Korea's QBs are 1st and 3rd in the offensive MVP race and the defense doesn't give much. Have not won a ladder game yet but 2 of those losses are against top 10 ladder teams right now. With the QB roll out and outside runs being slightly nerfed it will be interesting how North Korea responds.

3) Creek Valley Beast
Their only loss was 27-28 in week one against North Korea. They just escaped with a win over the Freebirds forcing a redzone fumble up 3 with 30 seconds remaining. Creek Valley is a tough team to beat and are gonna finish as the Alpha Division champion or in the wildcard.

4) Las Vegas Freebirds
A really good defense (Coached by yours truly) that was a fumble away from still being undefeated. Look out for the Freebirds in the playoffs.

5) Huntsman Spiders
These guys are good but not great. They have a really tough schedule to start off the season but may make a push for the playoffs. They will ultimately come up short of the post season though.

6) Miami Sharks
Despite the record they are not as bad as they look. They are bad though.

7) Orlando Matadors
Lost allot of close games. Could be a good team. Too bad they aren't.

8) Puerto Rico Pink Panthers
There is a chance they turn this season around and try to make the playoffs but they will ultimately come up short.

9) Detroit Kings

10) Alexandria Kings

11) Maine Wasps

12) Ravenswood Red Devils
A couple wins could vault them up a ways in the rankings. A couple losses could keep them here.

This league is very top heavy. Half the league has only 1 win and there are only 5 teams above .500. If one of the top teams has a complete collapse then we are looking at only 4 really competitive teams in this league.

I'll update the descriptions when I see it fit. After week 6 here are my completely biased power rankings.

1) Baltimore Bulldogs
Possibly the game of the year is next week between the 2 undefeateds. Baltimore is heavily favored to win but anything can happen.

2) Creek Valley Beast
Even though they just beat the Spiders by 5 and have a loss on their record Creek Valley is destroying this league.

3) North Korean Slim Kims
See Baltimore Bulldogs. Also only beating Main by one is not the way to get your ranking up.

4) Las Vegas Freebirds
A really good defense (Coached by yours truly) that was a fumble away from still being undefeated. Look out for the Freebirds in the playoffs.

5) Orlando Matadors
Another close game. These guys could be competing for a wild card spot if luck went their way a few times.

6) Huntsman Spiders
These next few games is where the Spiders have to prove themselves.

7) Puerto Rico Pink Panthers
They got a win. Now they need more.

8) Miami Sharks
Despite the record they are not as bad as they look. They are bad though.

9) Detroit Kings

10) Ravenswood Red Devils
They must keep on winning.

11) Maine Wasps

12) Alexandria Kings

Only 4 teams above .500 right now as the playoff picture is already looking clear.

New week and some new rankings.

1) Baltimore Bulldogs
After steam rolling North Korea to stay undefeated they face another tough game against the Freebirds.

2) Creek Valley Beast
Can anyone stop the Beast right now?

3) Las Vegas Freebirds
A really good defense (Coached by yours truly) that was a fumble away from still being undefeated. Look out for the Freebirds in the playoffs. They play the Bulldogs this week. Maybe an upset?

4) North Korean Slim Kims
We are the worst one loss team in the league right now.

5) Orlando Matadors
Another close game. These guys could be competing for a wild card spot if luck went their way a few times.

6) Huntsman Spiders
These next few games is where the Spiders have to prove themselves.

7) Puerto Rico Pink Panthers
They got a win. Now they need more.

8) Miami Sharks
Despite the record they are not as bad as they look. They are bad though.

9) Detroit Kings
Does anyone even read these?

10) Ravenswood Red Devils
They must keep on winning.

11) Maine Wasps

12) Alexandria Kings

This was a really exciting week. Now lets get to some power rankings!

1) Las Vegas Freebirds
They have played almost every tough team in the league and have an easy part of the schedule coming up in the next half of the season. I don't think the Freebirds are going to lose during the rest of regular season. They may be the last team standing when its all over.

2) Creek Valley Beast
They haven't been challenged at all recently. Their game against the bulldogs in a few weeks will be a huge test to see if they are as good as their record shows.

3) Baltimore Bulldogs
They just got shutout in OT. The Freebirds defense absolutely destroyed the offense for Baltimore and made them look like a whole different team. The Bulldogs are still an elite team, but in my completely biased opinion, are overrated. Baltimore controls its own destiny for sure.

4) North Korea Slim Kims
If they could score they would be ranked better than 4.

5) Puerto Rico Pink Panthers
I want to see another team sneak into the playoff picture and these guys have the best chance at doing so. But they need some top teams to lose and they have to win out. Then maybe they can get in the postseason. MAYBE.

6) Huntsman Spiders
The Huntsman Spiders have been disappointing this season. Then again I shouldn't have put that much hope into a John Huntsman team. These guys can finish .500 but it won't be easy.

7) Miami Sharks
Not as bad as the record shows. They should be praying that they get out of the Alpha division next season.

8) Ravenswood Red Devils
They where just the next victim of losing by "this" much to North Korea.

9) Alexandria Kings

10) Orlando Matadors
Next season they could surprise some people. I over rated them.

11) Detroit Kings

12) Maine Wasps

There is a dogfight going on for teams trying to get out of last place. There are also now 4 teams that are 7-1. Its going to be a contest of who can avoid the big upset loss.

I don't think the top 3 order actually means anything.

We're all in different divisions and if we (CVB) beat out NK for the divisional title (something I expect, but is no means guaranteed) then we'll all meet in the playoffs. NK might be there as well.

So, while I like your posts (because they generate conversation), I'm not sure you'll be able to really differentiate the top 3/4 teams up until and after the playoffs.

But keep posting because I keep reading and it does add an element to the league when there are active posters (me, you, Dinoo, etc.).

Best of luck (and RNG rolls) to all!

Deary me the RNG gods hate me atm, more and more fumbles from my rushing attack. Thankfully we are now back to our usual playbooks and with our new three headed monster it appears our offence is now back to firing on all cylinders. Not one to speculate but the Freebirds losing to the Sims i fear could have been a bit of match rigging in order to secure the division because they are no way the freebirds should ever lose to a team as mediocre as the Sims.

Next week Xars i believe its me vs you. I guess the its the battle of the underrated vs the overrated.

I didn't rig that game. I used my normal plays for North Korea and I told Frank Booth (Owner of Freebirds) 1 week (real time) before the game that I would be playing with the Slim Kims for that game and he said he would have the defense covered. The shutout was no fluke. The 17 points may have been but I can't imagine the Slim Kims wouldn't have at least kicked a FG. Slim Kims are a dangerous team. They may surprise in the playoffs.

My lame attempt at Defense played a huge roll in us (FreeBirds) getting stomped .. of course RNG giving us 2 int and 4 fumbles didnt help matters .. rest assured, come money time I will be better prepared if I have to take over D for a Play-off Game

You won't have to take over in a playoff game. I will be playing to win for both teams in the playoffs.

These Rankings are great. Maybe I'm a little biased since my team is in the top 3 of your rankings.
