Yorck's vs an excellent Lincoln City defense. Coming into the game, Yorick's had been averaging 75 points per game. But with less than two minutes to go, Yorick's got the ball at their own twenty, down by 8.

What followed was a 10 play, all-run (no QB rollout) drive ending with this at :13 with no timeouts left:

Talk about guts. Talk about confidence in your offensive line. If that play gets stopped, it's likely the game. But that confidence in the o-line, especially the center who leads the charge on QB Sneak, is very well-founded.

Breaking the plays down by ticks...

.5 - C snaps the ball
3.5 - QB gets the snap.
7.5 - C nudges forward starting his block
8.5 - RG, LG, LOT, and FB nudge forward to start theirs. QB leans forward to start run.
9.5 - The rest of Yorick's blockers make their nudges. Lincoln City's DT, LDE, and RDE all start to move. Their NT, though, does not.
11.5 Lincoln City's NT finally starts
18 Lincoln City's NT starts trying to tackle Yorick's QB who is already leaning into the goal line.

Btw, in my completely-not-tracked-enough-to-make-a-definite-claim opinion, I think the center has different snap reaction base settings on inside versus outside plays. Even fully rested, it seems to take him a full second longer to nudge forward on HB sweeps and QB rollouts than it does any of the inside runs. Not that this really matters is the C rarely has key blocks on those plays.
