First off I apologize for taking so long, I wanted to go more in depth but I realized that the time to do that is better done during the off season so without further ado here is my version of the top 10.
Rankkings: I based rankings off a few things that I feel are important to a running back.
Reliability: By far the most important thing that a back should be. I don't care if you can take it to the house better than any back if I can't rely on you to pick up yards most of the time
Home Run Threat: How good is this back at turning a play into a 20+ yard gain, pretty self explanatory
Electricity: How exciting are you to watch. Seriously this is the backs ability to turn a loss or a small gain into a large one by breaking tackles or dragging guys.
Yac attack: ability to get yards after contact, big boys need the love too.
Versatility: this is for all the receiving backs and returning backs
Ability to play in big games: self explainitory
1. Storm Taurus http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/28923 - o The Boss x - Hawaii Bulls
I'd be an idiot not to pick this guy as number one. He has everything you could want from a back. Hes a home run threat every touch, can make the play and break multiple tackles, solid YAC numbers, and a very reliable back. He can do it all and honestly I'd expect no less from the only superstar of the group. http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/48197/1996811?player_id=28923
2. Bo Jackson http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/26867 - USC_Trojans - Andes Chinchillas: If Storm Taurus wasn't around bo would definitely be the top hb of this class. The guy is just electric, a home run threat even inside the tackles. I cant think of a better play to sum it up http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/44155/1059338?player_id=26867. Has helped lead Andes to 2 championships. With Jim finally growing into his build and forcing defenses to be a bit more honest Bo may have his biggest year yet this season.
3. Anthrax Jones http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/55827 - jamz - Hawaii Bulls The uglier twin of the bulls. He isn't even remotely the home run threat that Storm is but Jones is one of the most reliable backs in this class. He is definitely the workhorse of this class. Watching him reminds me of a slasher back, nothing fancy just one cut and go. http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/53934/3336377?player_id=55827
4. Clem Daniels http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/26876 - USC_Trojans - Andes Chinchillas The second half of the Andes dual back attack that has lead them to a 4-0 playoff record. Clem is a combo back, and a damn good one at that. I haven't seen another combo back that's had any success besides clem. I believe this play embodies clem perfectly http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/52768/3066635. Time will tell if he can keep up his success with this experimental build.
5. Electromagnetic Pulse http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/35879 - JEWLS 212 - Tampa Bay QB Rollout Thunder: despite the name of this team, Pulse does a lot of work outside of goal line sweep. Hes definitely more of a shifty back who prefers to do his work on the outside. Though I wonder how much of his success come from defenses keying in on the deadly Coronal Mass Ejection. Still his production is too hard to ignore. Another slasher back http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/51893/2831138?player_id=35879
6. Kevin Faulk http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/34891 - Tigerbait0307 - Louisiana Screaming Pelicans: For a team that is pass first Faulk really makes a name for himself. Normally people would say a back like this gets his production because the defense focuses on the pass but in this case I disagree. I believe that Faulk is the true menace of this team. Any team that doesn't key in on this guy will regret it. Prefers to do his work on the outside http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/45268/1359698?player_id=34891
7. Darius Darkhand http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/42721 - Blastoh - The Salty Runback: The do it all back for Salty. He runs the ball, he catches it on occasion, and he returns it. He doesn't really stand out in anything per say but he can do a bit of everything. He is the Ray Rice of this class (pre this season break down). If his stats were a bit higher in the rushing category hed be a top 5 back easy. http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/46275/1549525?player_id=42721
8. Greg Hughes http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/36379 - Paul M - Monster Island Massacre: The bruiser back for the Islands two back attack. His avg is well average but he really grinds out the yards when the monsters need it. I've said it before and I'll say it again, reliability is massive in these rankings and so power backs get their rightful place in these rankings, Above avg yac for this bruiser makes him a solid top ten. http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/51001/2656122?player_id=36379
9. Barry Sanders http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/34725 - playboy3381 - Monster Island Massacre: The slippery red head step child of monster. I was kind of disappointed to see a hb named Barry Sanders who is more shifty than slippery. Despite my sadness I found that hes still a solid back a a solid top 10 candidate. Who deserves as much respect as his counterpart even if he prefers the outside. http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/44172/1121417?player_id=34725
10. Delvin Joyce http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/55730 - TDiddy8701 - Harrisonburg Bulldogs: An elusive back who is on the wrong team. This poor bastard got stuck on a team that focuses on passing with a S* QB and WR tandem. However, from personal experience this guy gets its it done when he gets the call. If I had to compare Joyce's situation it would be like Knowshon mooreno in Denver. Good running back whos name gets forgotten behind the S* QB. http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/53623/3302997?player_id=55730
edit: fixed pulse having the wrong owner/team
