nothing is 100% accurate.... since when in glb history has the sim animations been 100% accurate.

When I follow the shadow, I compare it to the goalposts shadow on the ground too. Neither of these kicks have the ball shadow go through the uprights shadow.

correct. The ball itself can be anywhere because it's 2D.

The shadow is the only thing giving flight another axis.

Put your hand over the shadow, and you won't be able to tell where the hell it is. Only the shadow reflects the accuracy.
