What is the base salary for a WR's medium contract. Is it $138,000.

Man, fitting 7 SS's on a team is tough.

7 SS is easy it's usually the 8th and 9th that makes you question if it's worth it

Exactly that its the 8th and 9th which is where you have to make serious cuts and really think about if losing some depth/ chem is worth it.

thats stupid. Try to put in 1 SS QB, 2 HBs and 2 CBs and see that even 5 will put you into trouble.

Take only DTs or OTs and see that you can fit 9.

well that's obvious of course.

That's not a big trouble, we did get 9 SS on Hawaii calculated with an ekstra player to spare, 5 of no matter others wont be an issue a QB or HB isn't same value as 2 SS, after all the pain with calculating for hawaii i'm of course pissed that they didn't live up to their promise of being able to stay under cap when moving up in ranks

Good news is my team's SS are: HB, WR, OT, DT, DE, DE, LB

I've only calculated the offense so far, so hope the defense is less expensive.

I don't know how you guys did it, but I just calculated the rest of my team and I am $1,000,000 over the cap. Now, I don't know what my defensive guys' traits are (I know the offense because I created all of them), since those agents haven't made the players yet, but I gave them an average of %16.

I only gave a high salary to HB, OT, DT and LB...all SS. Everybody else got a med contract. I have a 42 man roster and the other SS who are getting med contract are WR, DE, DE.

Whoever has a team with several SS, did you give out low contract? What was your roster size?

Maybe the salary numbers I am using are off...I hope so.

Small rosters and low contracts is really the only way to do that many s*'s.

yea 40 players max with 7 SS. The SS you have chosen aren't cheap ones most of them the OT DT and LB can be cheap, DE's are middle area and WR and HB's are high , wouldn't have hopes for high contracts you should avoid low contracts, better have all medium then have high and low, so try calculating with all medium and if money left you can go high contracts

here you can see an example of 9 SS and 37 players

also on a side note you should try having around 30-40k left of wage for the second season off scale wages that nobody tells you about

Actually, DE's are more expensive than WRs, unless the numbers I am using are way off.

Thanks guys. I'll need to do some reevaluating.

Supposedly if they are all the same tier, I should be ok.
