Baby BANGER has let by points in League Play.

Sad day for GLB and GLB players everywhere.

We came in with a mentality of shutout. We played great ball all season long. Still got the victory, but surrendered 10 points.

Offensively did not play our best. Threw an interception early that led to a Field Goal. Fired back on the next drive with a Touchdown. but still.... it hurts to say to all of our fans here in the GLB forums, we tried to be the first team to shutout every team in season league play, but the burdon was just too much.

With two games left to play in league we failed. if we would have shutout the Live Oak Eagles, our next game is versus a team with 0 wins.... that could have been special.

so once again, Sorry, Baby Banger fans.... We tried

Wow. You finally have to play a decent team and suddenly your shutout streak ends. Color me totally surprised.

I mean, I don't think I'm going to be able to get over this shock. It'll be like at the end of The Crying Game where I shouted out, "Holy crap! That's Password is Taco's mom!" It might just be too much for my poor little heart to bear.

Then again, it's not surprising that someone without the accumen to properly spell "burden" or to realize that "Baby BANGER has let by..." is grammatically incorrect would be incapable of identifying that their vaunted defense was nothing but an ersatz facade obfuscating mediocrity.

In order to get a B-, your premise would have had to been correct in the first place.

Using Toulmin's model, it's clear that all season long you've been making claims without any warrants or backing. Basically you support your claim of the superiority of your defense with the data of a series of shutouts. But without some way to connect that data to the idea of good defense, it's meaningless. This has been pointed out to you a number of times this season by multiple sources.

Most of those sources then proceeded to complete their arguments by identifying the sub-par level of competition you'd faced. That you chose to repeatedly ignore such claims simply reinforces the idea that you lack the intellectual capacity necessary for identifying the quality of successes.

So no. No B- for you. No C. No D, either. You fail. You get nothing! You lose! Good day, sir!

A team full of pedophiles doesn't deserve shutting out the whole league.

Good riddance. Time to dissolve the team and start all over again tbqh.

1. My brag posts are built on meaningful accomplishments (well, as meaningful as anything in a web based simball game can be). Shutting out your team last season in the playoffs was meaningful because you're a very good coach. Shutting out a bunch of new players just learning the game like Baby did is not.

2. What possibly gave you the idea I didn't like his post? I loved his post. It was hilarious. If I hadn't liked it, I would have just skipped over it like I do so many other posts in this vein.

3. I will admit to being disappointed in his replies. It's not much fun to take the piss out of someone who just sits there and takes or can only come up with the lamest of comebacks. There's no challenge there. It's about as challenging as shutting out a bunch of new players just learning to play the game.
