Assuming the allegations against the New Orleans Saints are sustained by evidence, I would request the following:

- All multi accounts used to populate the New Orleans roster, as well as the IP in question, should be permabanned.
- The New Orleans Saints franchise in the Truman League should revert to CPU and their wins should be forfeited. If this is not done, it would be easy just to create new dots, bring them up to speed and continue business as usual.
- I understand that this person may have had friends in high places. I would ask that chat and email records should be examined for evidence of collusion or transmission of inside information. I would further urge the admins and mods to publish their findings.

The players and owners in this league have paid to enjoy a fair game on a level playing field. I am not looking for summary justice, but I do need some assurance that this matter is being taken seriously and that the powers that be will do everything necessary to keep this a clean game. Under no circumstances should the whistleblower(s) be ignored or ridiculed for bringing this out in the open, and I'm beginning to feel that's exactly what's starting to happen.

Thanks for reading.

I agree with you 100%, I guess instead of Bounty Gate, we can call it... Fraud Gate... or something, I dunno, its the New Orleans Saints, I live in LA, and I can't stand the team, only makes sense they cheat in GLB as well

I myself only bought a team for fun with hope of a chance, with that being said, obviously I would expect to lose to owners with even a speckle of experience. I was fine with that, just the thought of losing to a what seems to be a mass exploiter troubles me.

Money wasted on dreams crushed by a cheater.

Obviously there WILL ALWAYS be multis that get through the system, but its a shame that an 'obvious' multi of such an extent was just let through this system.

I have been on and off GLB all the way from GLB1. It's a great game, but personally, it feels like im betting on a race where I know I'm already going to lose. Don't think I'll spend much on flex, its a shame, as this season was my first purchase anyway.

Good luck to all the fair agents in the game! Maybe with a miracle you may see my 'fun' team in the future lol.

Peace :-)

Guilty by association. No "I just wanted to buy a team" excuses to try to misdirect fault.

I will leave this thread open for discussion as the 'other' thread is now locked.

I do agree as OP, but the 'scandal' didn't provide a competitive advantage other than a user was able to get players for free. They were not super players, they didn't have additional points. So therefore I don't quite believe relinquishing wins is a formidable answer.

In hindsight the chemistry damage after half the season was complete is good enough punishment imo as Sean Payton did replace all the players which anyone with good experience in GLB2 knows chemistry is a large piece of the success formula.

There has only been one time that I remember in GLB history where flex was actually returned to the user base and that was back in GLB1 in the Canadian leagues where a user hacked accounts using a weakness in the sight and modified tactics, builds etc... to the GLB staff refunded x% flex back to the users who were effected. I was one of those fwiw.

I am sure things could have been handled in a better manner, but here we are. Saints had to replace players, took a chem hit and frankly got their asses handed to them in the championship game. Justice served. Lets move on. Shall we?

Emphasis mine - I'm not familiar with the details of all of this as I'm new to the league, but free players get free boosts, so their free players would have a statistical advantage over non-free players that did not have money spent on them.

I honestly thought this whole thing was over, I figured the mods made their ruling and we were over this. Granted a bulk of my conversations was cracking jokes, but we made suggestions, mods made their ruling, I guess its safe to say we can move on from this, at least I hope, we as agents did all we could in the situation, even though we pay money, the GLB staff makes the final calls, so whether or not we like it, we have to live with it. Great season to everyone, those still alive, good luck in the playoffs, and we'll see you next season if not.

This is true. Not saying it doesn't happen, but I haven't been part of a team that a player didn't boost. What I was stating is that they didn't have any advantages provided to the players that didn't exist for every other player. Only difference was monetary difference which hit the pocketbooks of GLBstaff. Not saying recruiting is easy, its not and they did have an advantage that they didn't have to due to the multi account situation but if you compare a free dot versus a paid dot, they are the same when it comes to attributes and skills.

So how about a little salt in the wound. Not only do we get to revisit this crap thanks to unneeded moderation nearly one month after everyone here ended the conversation on their own but in today's All Star game, we were treated to participation of the banned players. Gotta love it.

That is irony at its best, and I am sorry that a moderator wasn't brought in on this earlier. But when I did see it/hear it I acted. I can easily close everything up and just call it a day but rather I though I would leave a thread open if anyone want to voice opinion on the locked threads in a cordial manner.
