Has anybody else noticed how stacked the west is this season? It reminds me of old times, but honestly it might be one of the strongest conferences I've ever seen.

Ya, it's tough this season. Not many "easy" weeks! Reminds me of how things used to be in PWG when at least half the teams were a challenge...I like it!

There are 11 solid teams in there. All of the top 11 would be playoff teams in the east, probably at least top 5 or 6.

You disagree? Name another season when one conference had so many contenders?

Not a chance. I actually remember those seasons. From season 15 to about 21, gold had a lot of dead weight, maybe 7-8 tough teams in each conference. But you're totally right about 11-14 and 22-25, those were gold's toughest seasons.

S18 as I remember it the UT Pimps went like undefeated with the exact same offense the entire season (Proceeded to lose by like 100 in the playoffs)

...still, just on the boosted team count ...let's face it ~you're never really in contention if your team is unboosted ...maybe until recently, the past few seasons have allowed unboosted teams to come close to the mark ...but there are reasons for that which have become clear to me now

That's the point. In the "golden" age of PWG, only boosted teams where a challenge and they would dominate No-No teams. However, starting around Season 29, No-No teams became a challenge later in the season and even won PWG in S30 & S31. Thus being a full-full team is not as big of an advantage as it used to be and there are No-No or Partial-Partial teams that are very good.

In S11-S25, most of those seasons had some really good teams, but the level of quality fell hard once you got to the teams fighting for the7th & 8th seeds as most seasons had only 5-6 quality teams per division, often less. What kid is saying is that you don't have nearly the level of fall off you normally do and any of the top 9 teams in the West could go on a run and win that conference. And if the owners of LB actually tried, that number might raise to 10. That is the difference from previous seasons, the West conference is very stacked this season with talent and the number of push over teams is lower than it has been in the past.

So yes, I would put the quality of this season's Western Conference as one of the hardest PWG has ever seen. Not saying it is thee hardest, but it up there. I rarely have had to scout for regular season games in a long time, but finding I am having to do that more this season than I have had to in a long time.

You're not making any sense, Duhr. First you admit this conference is tough and now you're insinuating that it's not. Make up your mind.
