Alpine has struggled the last 2 weeks losing to Ministry and then to Tampa. Not that this was an impossible idea, but was very unlikely. The idea of Alpine losing a 3rd in a row seems rather dumbfounded as they are still a VERY strong team. New York in addition is not quite the team they used to be. There has been some rumbling within the ranks of the Gangsters of a power shift of play calling. I cannot speculate to the situation but I would recommend it if I were them. They need to salvage any chance they have to get back into the playoff race.

Sacramento despite only having 1 win are rising up. They have a staff that are getting all the toons in line. Kansas City has been the surprise of Osprey as no one expected a new team be able to compete as they have, but it shouldn't have been a surprise considering the run of Alpine last season. The Whales will rely on some good defense in this game to hold down Sacramento but the ground and pound should keep the game out of reach.

Texas Toast is another surprise this season. After stirring in the bottom of the bucket last season they have turned a corner and proven they belong. Helmand has always been one of those teams that have had spurts of greatness but have been very inconsistent. This is my upset pick as I think Helmand might have found a formula on offense and Texas will be taken aside by it.

Frankly this game is a toss up to me. Both teams are somewhat struggling compared to their potential. DeepRoute kept a close game with Ministry where as Detroit destroyed them. Only other loss for DeepRoute came from Tampa in a low scoring affair. Detroit lost handily to Alpine and in the remaining seconds against Kansas City. Both teams will not take this game lightly and I believe this will come down to the wire where just a little luck will push DeepRoute in the win column putting Detroit examining losing 2 games in the trailing seconds.
