I have like 5 or 6 sophomores that I created as 'experienced' half way through a season. So I personally haven't leveled them up to sophomores, but they have completed the 1st career tier. Will I get credit on their anniversary or will it take graduating to seasoned?

If you created them after day 24 -- no superstar credit for you (which I believe it says when you mouse over 'experienced' player during creation)

So - it all depends on "half way" - I would tend to guess that you missed the day 24 cut off

Like TxSteve said, your guys were created after the cut off day. Looking at them quickly, none played in a game before the 24th. You'll get full credit for them and any others created before April 16th, once they level up at the end of the season.

Tooltips are so damn helpful. I should read them more.
