As stated in the long thread title, is there a penalty for the player or the team if the player is clearly not going to resign and is expiring? Can the team cut the player with no greater penalty to chemistry for the player/team during this time?
The roster is full and there are other players waiting to sign in the expiring players spot so is is safe to just cut the expiring players at any time during the "Offseason, Renegotiations" period? I hope my question is somewhat clear. Thanks ahead of time!
