So I just made a Superstar and then I realized that I could've made him a free dot. Can I retire & remake him? Or if I retire him, will my Superstar points reset? I don't know how this works and do not want to do it if I can't get an absolutely sure answer.

I think that it was said last season that you can retire them and keep the superstar points as long as you create a rookie (not an experienced guy during the season). But I have not tried it myself, and not sure I want to in case it doesn't work.

Would be nice with a word from an admin on this.

Retire Player

You can retire your player if you no longer want him. THIS PROCESS IS PERMANENT, so make sure you really want to retire him!

When you retire your player, you will get back between 30% and 100% of the flex points spent on the player, depending on how long you have controlled him. A player retired before he has reached rookie level 1 will receive a 100% refund, with the refund reducing by 17.5% per level, down to 30% after reaching level 4. Any player who has not played a single game (other than pickup games) will receive a 100% refund, including superstar points.

Answer: yes retire him. You can remake him as much as you want until you play in a game.

I also did this last season, but keep in mind there were some bug reports last season about people trying this later in the offseason / before their first game and not getting the points back immediately.

AFAIK no one could figure out why that occured at the particular time it did.

Just make sure it's not experienced and don't boost.
