just a visual error, good tackling probs let the defender make contact but since the blocker was in the way visually he couldn't trail behind HB and show us the drag animation we love so much.

I'm not sure it's a visual bug - it appears the dot is blocked while holding on to a tackle. The block holds his movement but the "holding on" doesn't stop, so he's considered to be dragging behind the ball carrier and eventually he pulls him down.

Probably should prevent blocking on D dots that are in the middle of a tackle?

Looks like in both those cases the blocker tries to engage the tackler, then almost immediately engages someone else - perhaps something there is keeping the tackler's x/y position from getting updated in the graphic? The second replay from -Phaytle- is particularly interesting since when the block breaks, the tackler's x/y gets updated in the replay graphics to be where he actually is.

To me it looks like the tackle is first initiated and then the ball carrier drag the tackler next to two guys in a blocking interaction. The guy doing the dragging is stuck because he can't go through those blockers. I don't think it is a blocker trying to block a guy already in the process of dragging the ball carrier.
