I was noticing that the ball is spotted on each right and left side hash marks along with right in the middle of the field. Of course it should all be optional for those who would not care if the same play was called on the right side for left hash mark. This could also making D gaming a little harder.
Forum > Suggestions > Lets us custom what plays we run from the middle to each hash mark n the play book.

I would rather everything is just centered and not worry about each side of the field and how it changes every single play call so much. This is something that we brought up time and again in Mike Rogers forum for GLB1. Would just make things easier for everyone, even the devs.

yes agree about the staying centered. But its not and I think it would tone down some of the plays being over used. Plus it would just be fun..

Well you would have to give the defense the right to defend it too so that would just exaggerate it even more.

I agree and disagree with this but thank for the response. I agree as it would be FAIR if they could. But disagree in that Defenses play man or zone on this game.

But their coverages completely change for whatever hash mark you are on. If an OC could pick and choose what plays are ran on each hash mark they could carve up defenses really easily thanks to how the zones play out differently.

What do you mean they change coverages completely change on the hash marks? Please explain.. There is nothing changing on my replays if we run dogs all go to C2 and any other games I watch from right to left hash. They play the same. I know it might look as I am tying to agrue. I am just trying to all the Concert info I can. I would like proof to what yo are saying that they change coverages completely due to were they are on the hash..

Your safeties cover 2 coverage is different from the left hash mark to the right because they mirror the offense. On the right hash mark, your SS is closer to the sidelines and your FS is further. Opposite for the left hash mark. Easy for OC's to take huge advantage of that with plays like in Spread.

Thanks for that info. I be watch like a hawk on that. What about M2M D? I guess I just dont understand how a the placement is going to change coverages especially in M2M coverage. I get being closer and farther away from LOS. I just don't get how a player changes coverage I would think that is a build issue. Thanks for the info hope you dont mind me asking more bhall?

Man to man obviously doesn't matter but the cover 2 or 3 by the safeties does. Plus you are likely gonna want to protect the side of the field that is more open for running. Just isn't fair if the offense only gets that option. But it would just be so much easier for everyone involved if the ball was always centered.

It changes the zone coverage because defenders react when a player reaches their zone. If a safety is further from the sidelines he may not react to that sideline route but to someone in the middle instead.
