Forum > Goal Line Blitz 2 > So has anyone done the math on how much completely owning a new team would cost?

By completely owning, I mean paying for all 43 players, getting them all their boosts, the 500 flex per year...everything.

Cuz in the amazingly unlikely event that corndog puts in a single wing offense, I was thinking about doing just that (because no way would I expect other people to pay to join in my silliness).

But seriously. I'm curious. I'm guesstimating around $40 or so for the players and first season, but then add in all the boosts, and SQUIRREL!!

I added it up one time, I think it was like 8500 flex a season to boost and renew the team

~120k flex depending on your roster layout, so about $630.

Is that to take the team all the way to the end?

Wow. I'm gonna hafta mow a lot more lawns for that.

Also, going to hafta buy a lawnmower.

Then, I'm going to need knee replacement surgery because no way am I mowing more than one lawn with my zero cartilage knees.

This is getting way too expensive...

If they implement the single wing and you buy a team, I'll make a HB and the entire O-Line for your team.

Unless I totally screwed up the math or someone is totally tweaking a normal roster (loading up on 150 or 50 flex positions), yes, this is the cost to take 43 players and purchase all boosts, including 500 flex a season to renew team, until they have to retire, accounting for one free 150 flex player.

I'm pretty sure the math is right, gotta be decent at math for an engineering degree for some reason.

150 flex GLB2 players (QB / HB / LB) = 150 creation + 1500 SP boosts + 600 career extension + 750 AP boosts = 3000 total cost

100 flex GLB2 players (WR / TE / FB / CB / FS / SS / DE) = 100 creation + 1200 SP boosts + 600 career extension + 750 AP boosts = 2650 total cost

50 flex GLB2 players (O-line / DT / K / P) = 50 creation + 900 SP boosts + 600 career extension + 750 AP boosts = 2300 total cost

As you can see, 1 QB, 2 HBs, and 5 LBs (8 150s) is going to cost 21,600 flex alone (1 free player, still have to pay 600 for career boosts on him). You still have 35 players to go.

Then you'll need about 22 100s for for 58,300 flex.

Plus 13 50s to fill out the 43, at 29,900 flex.

21,600 + 58,300 + 29,900 = 109,800

Now you need 500 flex per season to purchase renew the team each season and you're well within the 115k-120k flex ballpark, again, depending on your roster allocation and how much flex you want left over to play with.

I've had my team drawn up for a while, just waiting to see if this is going to be worth it, or if it's going to take forever or never for improvements to take place.

he's asking per season, not total

I counted and it'd be about 12k per season for my setup of players.
