See how free agents there are and the season starts today, if you allow contracts to expire at rollover from day 48 to 49, instead of day 51 to 52, you would have people on teams already instead of scrambling for teams.
Yes I know you can sign people that have expired contracts, but does everyone know that? I found out by accident.
