this defensive play is rediculously overpowered against 3WR, 4WR, AND 5 WR sets...

It has essentially ruined the sim. I have scrimmaged enough games to know when when two evenly matched teams play each other, whoever runs the play more wins.... simple as that

It's really weak against inside rushes, tbh

Two solutions that don't require it being changed.

1. Run inside (as mentioned).

2. Use 5WR set ups. The sim coverage algorithms are broken, and if someone calls a defense with only 4 CBs against an offense with 5WR's, there will be an uncovered receiver.

False.

Two things I have noticed against this play that I think really should be improved:

1. QB decision time

2. Why doesn't a scrambling QB tuck the ball and run up the middle? Seems like dual threat QBs are very afraid of a little potential contact even when there is an opportunity to get a lot of yards.

Is it really?

Ran a scrim now between Alpine and DD (10-7 end result), two of the top 3 teams according to the ladder. Both teams ran something like 40-50 runs against All Dogs Go and average approx 1.5 yards.

I haven't seen inside runs do anything against it

I wouldn't say "really weak". vs the spread, for example, you usually end up with the SS and the HB meeting at the line of scrimmage or so. Usually the SS makes the tackle. If the HB makes a good play you will pick up a bunch of yards. If the D-line gets off a block at the right time you're toast for sure. It's a low percentage success play.

Brewmasters have a team built to run the ball, they are going to have some success running the ball out of 3 and 4 WR sets where the other side is using the All Dogs.

Well, I'm not really gonna argue with Corndog, but I did spend the last two days running experimental defenses where all kinds of WR's ended up uncovered.

Then I saw in another thread the new algorithm, so I'm going to be running even moar experimental defenses with that.

So if it works...Yay! Corndog!

(now I'm hungry for corndogs....)

Because people say that you can't run or pass against that formation. Plus they like to run inside and outside, so an inside/outside blitz is actually not a terrible call.

A team built to run, having "some success" against a defensive play is not really sufficient to call that play "really weak" against the inside run, is it?
