Yeah - like a dumbass I picked Egotist for our dual threat QB, so he gets a -12 to max Conditioning, which is maxed out right now at 25. But come on - down to 1 freakin energy on the opening drive after 4 hand-offs and 3 passes? Sorry, but if that's working as intended this game is f-u-b-a-r.

hand offs drain a lot of energy which is kind of weird

definitely doesn't seem right.

Does he have first step? I think there was a bug awhile back that was causing first step to drain a lot of stamina needlessly - I'm sure there are other bugs

How many times did Showboat fire for the D?

Was the QB sacked?

There are a lot of reasons why energy might be draining.

That's kind of a misnomer though if "maxed out" is 25.

Again, you would need to link to the game or tell us how many times Showboat, Monster Hit, etc. fired and how many times the QB got hit or carried the ball.

Seeing how dots a egotistic dual threat, conditioning can't be all that high.

I've noticed my QB running around, looking for blocks after hand offs. Might be draining energy that way, too.

Very first drive for Warsaw

1st play - hand off - no other contact - energy 100 to 83
2nd play - hand off - no other contact - energy 92 to 73
3rd play - pass completed - never leaves the pocket, no other contact - 86 to 65
4th play - hand off - no other contact - 75 to 54
5th play - hand off - no other contact - 62 to 42
6th play - pass completed - never leaves the pocket, no other contact - 54 to 22
7th play - pass completed - never leaves the pocket, no other contact - 28 to 1

I can understand the idea behind a conditioning hit for someone that chooses a trait that comes with one, but this goes way beyond a hit - this is a death sentence.

i've noticed several times qb with higher conditioning then 24 spending 20+ energy on a hand off mainly cause after they hand off they run to block someone and don't stand still, so they spend all their energy running around on run plays.

it's not a bug just how the game works, though they should make a change in what the qb does after a handoff

I like my QB trying to make blocks..... maybe you all should just add more conditioning...

well when at 40 you still spend 21 energy on a handoff it seems weird

With the hit from egotist my QB can't take Conditioning any higher than 25.

And he isn't trying to block anybody - just running for his own end zone after handing off the ball.

I'd like to hear from Corndog or one of the other Admins on this.

Yeah it's kinda weird that when you run more than you pass the QB gets as tired as the HB...
