Seriously? 37 seconds left after that play and we don't even get a FG try? We're we just like fuck it we can't make one anyway? You would think we would be able to line up for a FG in less than 37 seconds

Yeah timing for plays is so messed up its crazy.

I've seen some plays take as little as 2 seconds, and then the next play will take 20.

I've also seen teams running a 2 minute offense, complete a pass with over 1:10 left, and call a timeout with about 45 seconds left. Dumb.

45 seconds seem to be a magic time when it comes to time outs.

Do any qb skills relate to 2 minute offense sense of urgency

It would be cool to have a team tactic for the speed of the offense, with penalties and bonuses to conditioning. Something like -

"Hurry Up"...-5% stamina/+5% Pass/Carry Awareness (Minimum time between plays)

"Methodical"...No Bonuses/Penalties (Timing stays as it is)

"Clock Control"...+5% Stamina/-5% Pass/Carry Awareness (Take as much time between plays as the play clock will allow)

If the defense has more time to prepare for your personnel then there should be a penalty to the offenses awareness skills, or a bonus to defense's awareness.
