Is it only the ability to react to the ball being snapped or does it impact general reaction time

Pretty sure the Snap Reaction on a C affects how quickly he can go from snapping into blocking.

The center is reacting the same way the other oline men are. So no it isn't useless.

It's very important for any olinemen going against any d linemen (probably any lb too) with a high snap reaction

So what does OL having low snap reaction result in? More likely to allow DL to get past? More likely to get rev.pencaked? I doubt it.
The way I see it is, because DL, about a yard away from the scrimmage line, 'meets' with OL in-between that 1 yd area, high snap reaction helps the DL get a little closer to QB before hitting OL. (which is helpful because when DL breaks himself free, the distance between QB and him is reduced.) However, it only makes the difference of less than 1 yd and that is why the sp cost for snap reaction is cheaper than many other abilities.

In Football Snap Reaction is more important in the trenches then anywhere else. Now if that is reflected in this game i don't know.

Higher probability for sacks, hurries, and tfl. Sure it isn't an end all attribute to those things but it works into the grand scheme.

Agreed. One of those abilities very much needed in a long run.
I am just saying this is not something you want to go crazy about when the DL's quickness is like 30 and sprinting 25.

Then again, Snap Reaction costs about a quarter of what a lot of the other skills cost, so it isn't like taking it to 60 is going to break the bank. The difference between taking sprinting from 99 to 100 would buy you like 8 points in snap reaction from 52 to 60.
Problem is, we don't know what the bonuses and penalties to snap reaction are.
Like if you roll less than 25, do you have a really delayed reaction? If you roll greater than 75 do you just pop out of your stance on the first tick, or are there other bonuses to getting a really high roll?
Or is it just a threshold roll where you either have to roll higher than the threshold in order to react early or you react late? If so, is the difference between 40 snap reaction and 70 snap reaction worthwhile?
What I'd like to see is either a four stage reaction with reaction times ranging from lightning fast reaction to super slow reaction.
OR
Just a simple roll multiplied by your snap reaction skill level that gives you a boost to all of your skills for the first X number of ticks. You can then pair that with an SA that extends the number of ticks the boost to all skills remains OR an SA that gives you better bonuses during that window.

Well, the bottom line is, unless I see a fast reacting DL gets past a slow reacting OL without a single interaction, I won't say that the snap reaction is one of the most important abilities needed for linemen.
