Pathing on defensive tackles seems to be off after heading to QB at times. They are heading straight for the sack then they get off target and turn away from the QB before re targeting them.

Could that be a result of poor balance? Perhaps the spin move lowers his balance, and he "stumbles" before being able to take a decent path?

yeah I though this too but why now? Only started happening about a week or so ago. Balance? footwork? pursuit? I'll put more points in to these DTs but I like to know if anyone else has seen it.

You probably have been increasing his speed without increasing his footwork/balance amirite?

Yeah, it's probably balance related.

Unfortunately No


Ive been steadily increasing footwork and balance and it seems like nothing is working to keep them on target.

Ill keep plugging away but this seems as a bug that something is a miss.

Can anyone tell me if they have seen this besides with my players and DTs?

Might have to do with evasive pass rushing...hmm.

Yeah, it's definitely evasive pass rushing. Once the blocker is "unstunned", the player runs away from him again.

Yes I can see what you are saying and see this as a bug. It seems that as the blocker gets within a certain "radius" its like the rusher is trying to avoid the blocker again even though he has already passed the blocker and on his way to the QB.
