Maybe not on this play, but if this bug occurs again it COULD be the difference in a pick 6 or a tackle for an insignificant return.

Don't know which guy is more stupid, the WR trying to detract attention from the return or the CB4 that actually starts going to block him at the end of the play?

Give him a break. He just really wants to finish his route. He likes posts. In fact he's anal about post routes, wont quit.

If the bug causes a player to not pursue the ball carrier, it's not unreasonable to think that IN THE FUTURE, the bug could cause issues.

Or, should they just wait until it does before they fix it?

He's getting a head start on the laps the coach is having him run for the poor effort on breaking up the INT.

If it ever matters...if the wr isn't going to get to his feet until the guy is 20+ yards away, I'm not positive it's going to ever make much of a difference if the wr pursues him when he gets up. It's not like this happens after every pick, so the only evidence I have to go on this is that the receiver will only behave like that if he dives for the reception.

WR [intercepted] fumbles and then instead of simply tackling the CB, goes and blocks someone...

Pick 6 results.

It looks like intended receivers who [get intercepted] lose the ball are not being given normal "free ball" instructions.

Fumble recovery....but that sucks lol

That is what I was thinking! He ran the wrong route so he is getting a headstart on his "gaser drills" and up downs for his punishment!
