I've had to cut a player that was inactive over a week - and it'd have been nice for him to get an e-mail notifier so that he might login to find another team and not fall far behind.

Also it'd be good for the asshat owners who cut a player they just don't like out of nowhere, so that I know I need to sign them to a d-league immediately.

Had some schmuck sign my dominator wr from a D-League - build open, then cut him 2 games later because he didn't like that I wasn't focusing on catching or something.

If I'd been offline for a day or two, I'd have been annoyed to have paid to boost a joe that some idjit cut because I wouldn't accept his friend request.

I agree. I'd also say do an alert for contracts because some people have their focus on GLB Classic and would like to get their attention with an alert.

I'm with Jamz. I think it's only right that he gets an alert when I cut his TE

Best Te on the team, yet never catches passes. Wouldn't blame ya. Damn curse of Dub J on him I tell ya.

Yeah, I just had a player cut and had no idea - an alert would be nice

I know they've tried to move away from having so many alerts but this one makes sense. Of course adding the "catch up" option will allow a player to not be behind as they move into the new tier but they will lose stats and games by using it.
