For some reason damn near every time my team forces a takeaway they always give the ball right back the following drive... It's gotten to the point where I seriously don't think it is coincidence anymore...

Anyone else have any experiences like this? is their an attribute that controls something like this?

2 examples from my last game alone:

4th down sack to get possession (Late in game)
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/20549/695664
Very next play ffum.....

Earlier in the game:

We force a fumble and recover..

A few plays later we give it right back.....

I hate to agree with you two times in a row but I notice the same thing. You'd think the team would get a morale boost from forcing a turnover, instead they seem to flop. Is the offense tired from not getting enough bench time?

it's a pretty consistent trend with my team, not sure if any1 else experiences this....

would like to see a tester/corndogs beautiful face with some sort of explanation/recommendation as to what i can do...

because right now, I pray that we don't pick up any of the ffums my team causes, because i know the other team is getting the ball right back.

fuck the downvoters

I agree here. In a recent scrim there was THREE turnovers in a row...

...and then two more in a row later in the game. They definitely seem to come in bunches.

I've noticed that it happens. I'm not sure if its often enough to call it more than coincidence but will try to pay more attention to see.

Seems like an illusory correlation - it's notable when it happens, so the examples stick out sharply in your mind. More often, though, a turnover is followed by a more mundane series of plays, and we forget about those, less available, events. Almost definitely not statistically related, though.

I agree with this. So Jampy if you say it happens too often what percentage does it happen. Do you have statistical evidence that its more evident on your team than say someone like me? Just curious as it's easy to point to a problem but to actually research and prove it is another thing. Not saying it's an invalid claim, just saying back it up with abnormal numbers to prove a point.

ITT alone i have 5 examples of this wretched double turnover... I would venture to say I don't think any other team in our tier has even 5 double turnovers this season...

That alone should prove a point... If you watched all of AGD2Ds games (like I do), you would notice the offense players always play like complete jackasses after they get possession from a turnover.

is it a lack of heart? Is it because they are tired from no rest? There has to be a reason.

Is it becausre AGD2D forces a lot of turnovers, and turns the ball over more often as well? Perhaps you just have a large number of possessions in your games that end in a turnover, and thus you're more likely to see two possessions back to back end in turnovers.

If you want to look at it:
What % of your drives start after a turnover?
What % of your drives end with a turnover?
What % of drives that start with a turnover end with a turnover?

That's the "numbers" you'd want to start with to see if you even have an issue.
