When you really think about it, that is sorta what happens in real life.

A promotion is actually you getting fired... But of course no one cares because you are getting a better job instead.

that is the most backwards thing i've ever heard. in fact it's usually the person above you who gets fired and you're replacing him.

now jampy what did we learn today? promotion =/= fired

good job!!!!

shouldn't have to fire someone to reassign their spot, you should be able to offer them a job "change" i.e. theyre my OC I want to switch them to DC, I sent them the DC offer, upon accepting they become DC but no longer OC. seems reasonable and easy

It's not backwards, you just don't seem to be capable of basic thought processes.

point is unlike in GLB1 where you can change someone from STC to HC to GM to DC all in 5 minutes,
there is no sort of stat tracking on the stats of the coordinator, that's why I believe you have to fire the owner, to put a stop to the stat tracking for that particular position.

Right so what you're saying is promotion = fired + rehire
In fact it is promotion = job reassigned

Jampy idk if you're off your game or what but your age is really showing today

Either way when you get promoted or demoted you are NOT getting fires, as anyone who has ever worked in history knows. When youre fired, your employment is being terminated. Hence, you shouldn't need to fire someone to move them from one job to another, because you're not terminating their employment, just assigning them to a different job

And how do they reassign you? They terminate your old position and assign you to a new one.

Unless you keep the old job, you can not deny the fact that you are losing the old job and gaining the new.

Anyway that's my last post ITT, seeing how it really doesn't matter.

No it's your last post because you're wrong. Your EMPLOYMENT is not being TERMINATED your ASSIGNMENT is just being CHANGED. You've never worked so I wouldn't expect you to know, but no you do not "technically" get fired when you are promoted/demoted...which is why "technically" you shouldn't need to fire them in order to hire them.
