Probably but it really shouldn't force you to sub someone in that doesn't play that position

How deep is the assigned depth chart there? Did the guys on the depth chart for WR4 just play on the coverage or return teams? It's stupid, but I've seen it a bunch where a guy will go from full energy to zero in one STs play. They're just running down the field without getting blocked or blocking for more than a second or even getting the tackle, what a waste!

Everyone on your WR4 depth chart was already on the field...so...

Had always assumed the logic was different & setup to only play players on charts if a chart existed - but I'll stack the chart to prevent that. Thanks
