Do scrimmages do anything for your players? I somewhat remember in GLB1 that it would give your players XP. I am mistaken? Does it help players at all in GLB2? I don't see what the point is for it to cost 50 FP and not do anything for your players.

Scrimmages do nothing for players in GLB1 or GLB2. Except give you a game to watch with your player(s).

Scrimmages never gave out XP, and they don't help your players.

You do them if you want to test out your tactics, or see how well you measure up against another team. Or just to give your players something to watch. They are meaningless, except for those who make up their own reason to care.

In order to be able to do all these scrims there was servers that needed to be added to fit a bunch of games in a day. Servers cost money. So scrims cost a little bit too. Why do people run scrims for 50 FP? Because they are more games to use in order to watch your player play and test various things out. I run 8 scrimmages a day per team pretty much.
