Is anyone having any success running them?

You forgot to mention the receiver catching the pass but falling down.
And laying there forever.

Yeah, product of balance, off target passes, and poor Rec Hands/consistency.
Which is good, because screens shouldn't be an every down play like it is in GLB1. It is the reason we can't have nice things, like play action, because Bort hasn't coded tendencies or live play-calling yet.

The two really have nothing to do with each other. The first statement says "Screens won't work in GLB2 until higher levels when everyone has the skills to make it work." Once they work, they become an "every down play" because every play in GLB2 is an every down play.

Sorry, they don't work NOW because you fall down, which is a product of skills. They won't work later because of at least ten other reasons, all based on the D improving their skill sets.
I'm sure at some point there will be a team that figures out the screen, but the test server demonstrated that at least ten teams who tried it didn't go back to trying it again.

With all the blitz defenses going around right now I wouldn't be surprised if a screen team worked for a little in sophomore.

Doubt it - they will more likely get to the QB before he throws the ball. Even of they don't the pathetic blocking and catching/run ability of the targets will make the play doa. I have even seen lol throws 5 yards upfield for INT's nowhere near the intended target.

I still dont understand how balance is required to not fall down after a catch. I mean does anyone here fall flat on their ass when they catch a football?

If you have to reach for it and you have terrible balance, you will probably not be able to stay on your feet. Remember, these are often off target passes or passes that the Receiver doesn't realize are coming until they are almost there.
Balance isn't the only fix (better tech, better quickness, better awareness, better consistency, better hands), but it will do wonders until the ball is thrown more accurately and until your receiver has better skills to get in position to make the catch cleanly.
