Will there be any kind of chemistry bonus for players who sign with a team right at the beginning of the off season?

I would like to rebuild a number of my players to improve them (I built them early in season 1 and made a lot of mistakes and chose a lot of bad SA's)

I'm trying to sort out 'when is it worth it?'

Respec (my understanding) can't touch base attributes or the 3 traits that were selected so that will only cover SOME mistakes...

So will players signed during the offseason be starting back at 0 chemistry? Is there some kind of chemistry bonus for being on a team in the offseason? (position camps / etc)

Currently, no.

I believe a respec is unable to touch stats (strength/agility/etc) - and unable to change traits (slow built/balanced blocker/etc)

No. Attributes, traits, height, and weight cannot be changed ever. To do that, you need to rebuild.

Why?

Repec only undoes the last season of applications of SP and AP. If you built a player using Early Bloomer for four seasons and then did a respec and got to choose new traits, you would have received all your Skills at a discount. You could then apply the rest of your skills with higher caps and keep the discount.

Exploitable.

respec could just get rid of everything tbh. get all your SP back and if you switch traits then you cant cheat the system.

/thread.

But why should you be able to have a (for example) slow, bruising YAC reciever for three seasons suddenly turn into a speedster with not BRTK in season 4? Players are set up with some type of archetype, the system maintains that, otherwise it's just lolseasons.

I like the idea of adding Superstar Trait to an already built bot.

Sounds realistic. Real WR's can get better after a few seasons then become superstars.
