This ranking is loosely based on fact and largely based on opinion. Thanks for reading. Please post and comment!
1. All Pro Falcons (2) - All Pro has the best record so far with victories over Crib, Little Ohio and Taz. To not rank them at #1 with their current record and schedule would be absurd. A.I. has to stay focused though with upcoming games against Mayors, Pit Vipers and Birdman.
2. Fighting Gamecocks (1) - Well I'd say they are doing okay so far. They have only allowed 7 points, but the schedule hasn't been overwhelming. FGC looks like a top team, but the test will not truly be passed until they face All Pro in week 13.
3. Chicago 85' Bears (3) - I will proudly claim that I put up 300+ yards and 31 points on Gerr's defense, but the joker won anyway. Gerr is as dependable as you get at this point in the season. I frankly thought he'd beat me by more, but the true test is week 5 against boosted Epic.
4. Short Bus Window Lickers (5) - Anybody else as upset as I am by LE's strategy in this game? He came into this game against Ultimate with this crazy pass first strategy and threw the ball around like crazy. I'm very distressed.... He threw it 100% more than he has thrown all season long...
5. Epic Holiday (6) - Epic played very well today against the Cocks and came out with an 18 point win. Despite only out-gaining the Cocks by 15, Epic made those yards count with 3 offensive TDs. Epic has a chance to cement their elite status if they can come out with a victory over Gerr in week 5.
6. TazVikes Nordica (4) - I'm really not worried about that loss against All Pro as I kind of expected it. I don't that that will in any way stop Taz from being the #3 seed in the East if he can take care of business the rest of the way. Frankly, I am pulling for a rematch against All Pro in the playoffs.
7. Requiem Revolver (7) - As I said in the last post, we really won't learn anything about this RR team for a few weeks. They haven't had any blow out victories against good teams yet, but there is a long road ahead and plenty of opportunities.
8. Crib Midgets (NR) - Welcome to the rankings for the first time this season! Crib had an early season loss but it came against All Pro and there is no shame in losing that game. Crib is a full booster and could be a potentially dangerous team in the West. Week 5 against SoA is a real test for both teams.
9. Dotball Fairy Pirates (10) - Well that was a pretty easy victory against EZ Company, and week 5 brings another easy win. Week 6 is the first true test for this squad. we really won't know if they are #9 or #18 until we see them play some tough opponents.
10. Friendly City Psychopaths (NR) - This team has actually won a few pretty decent games with a nice victory over Birdman this week. This may be a team to watch as their next 4 game are all pretty much guaranteed victories. The second half schedule for Friendly is very difficult, but they could come into it as an 8-0 team.
