Just wondering - with new season 2 teams, are they all going to be set up to need rookies only? Are they all going into leagues mixing rookies and sophomores? Is there a way to pick which you end up in?

Because if it's all rookies, I'm worried (possibly without grounds) we might have a bit of a squeeze on players - too many owners went inactive or just resold their teams, leaving us with more dots than there are roster spots. It's very possible the inactive dots who disappear will make up for it, but considering how many CPU teams we currently need, I'm not sure if there will be a sustainable market for mediocre to low end season 1 players.

I think Bort said there might be a special dispensation for S2 only where Sophomore teams could be bought to help out with this; usually it's going to be Rookie only.

I expect this sort of thing will exist every season. The good news is you can always just park your dot for a season and then try again next season with the dot without anything lost, as long as you have multiple dots and don't mind letting one idle.

It depends on the demand, I see alot of rookie teams are going back to rookie next season, Bort is going to meet the needs for team new owners, they would most likely be rookie teams, I can see the rookie leagues doubling, even tripling, while the sophomore leagues shrink a little. I also think a bunch of people will have superstars next season, which is why alot of sophomore team will be demoting to rookie.
