A good many positions right now are "stocked" D-League offers for everyone but O-lineman are too often coming from teams that cannot accept the player due to being full. Unless more are spun off (or better yet human teams opened up , inactive or otherwise) I don't see any spots for new players.

Saturation leagues with cpu teams are one of the things that killed glb1, they need to increase the roster size

I kinda like the small roster size but we could use some kind of practice squad spots to dump inactives in so we dont have to cut them incase they come back. It would have to have limits like one time up and one time down per player and season. That would open up for active players stuck on a cpu team to get some game time.

Ah OK...didnt look at it that way...If they increse the Roster Size, tho, they would need to rethink the whole salary Cap and Superstars thing :/
I really think Bort made some bad decisions this season...The introduction of the mid season leagues was great but it simply werent not enough teams. At the point, there nearly all Teams were filled, Bort sent out the email to get new users here and suddenly the "Players looking for Teams" Page was going crazy. Additionally, The new agents spammed in the "Teams looking for Players" section, even in threads that were 2 weeks not touched and was full of players already. Those new Agents didnt find Teams and we had an even bigger problem, then we had before introducing the new leaagues...
The better solution would have been to simply give out far more Teams if he knew he would send out the super email or, and better, send the email BEFORE creating new leagues to see how big the demand really is. They way it went, it just seems not really that the big bosses thought about their steps.
I might be wrong, tho as i dont really know what Borts Plan was.

We first should be able to see easier than screenshotting or force to post in team forum to see who is active^^
