There is alot more information in GLB2 about what things do and what attributes trigger them and how likely they are to trigger.

Can any of this be taken as a revelation about GLB1 Special Abilities or game play?

For instance, does First Step trigger based upon Agility in GLB1? Is the effect the same more or less?

Or did Bort entirely get trashed, force himself to forget GLB1 and start fresh?

One of the first thing they told testers was to forget everything we knew about GLB Classic. Take that for what its worth.

First step and agility have always had correlation and I am sure you could learn a couple things from glb's sa's but I wouldn't look too far into it either.

Corndog or another Admin stated they wanted to make a whole new different game that was not the same as GLB Classic. So, taking what you know from GLB Classic should be taken with a grain of salt, in all seriousness.

They have the same freaking plays to choose from and they are both football sims. With ALGs not being a distraction you are able to experiment with a lot more strategic build plans. And having the patience to watch SIMs closely enough to grasp whats really going on and adjust accordingly isn't something that everyone possesses. The ability to succeed in classic does translate to GLB2 IMO.
