Will it be 100% random? Will the ladder determine the league placement?

I hope Ladder chooses league placement, so we can have some [even more] intense league play next season

I wonder how that will work with some teams gutting/dropping back? I imagine some leagues will have to be contracted with teams scattered into other leagues.

Are you sure? That wasn't what the verdict was on the test server but is what I wanted to happen.

What's the end game? Are we going to have tiers like GLB1? If so the first few seasons will be a round robin until the cream floats up. I am all for that structure but would involve new teams each season.

According to Bort, leagues with the fewest human teams left will be broken apart and merged into other leagues.

Cool. Originally you said something about Gold/Silver/Bronze type setup so I was unsure how that was gonna shake out considering the ladder already adds the element of competitive games.

Not sure if we are entirely set on "endgame" leagues.

We have always intended leagues to "grow up together". I'm not sure if we are going to do a Gold/Silver/Bronze type pyramid, or leave leagues like they are once they hit veteran. I know at one point we were wanting teams to kind of graduate to a pyramid structure. I honestly see benefits for both styles.

It's good to see there will still be merging of leagues with attrition

There will definitely be some shake ups in the first few seasons with ownership - I expect you'll gain a lot of owners in S2 due to the large influx of old players coming back - but also lose quite a few human owners who were just giving it a test drive for S1 of GLB2 Launch.

Solution: Just beat them bad enough that they quit, then merge into a better league.

I think it is fun. You get your obvious competitive games through the ladder but the divisions staying together adds a rivalry element not only within your own division but also between all the different leagues across the age bracket.

All 3 of my divisions are pretty legit. Saddest part is the toughest division I am in we are on top.
