So which league is the "Best League"?
Top candidates, in my mind, in the order I'd rank them:
Grizzly League
Top teams: Sunday Funday, South Otto, Zorp
5 teams in the top 50. Consistently one of the best average ranked leagues. Very deep; I predict Grizzly will have the dubious "highest ranked team that missed the playoffs" honor. Gamma division is just brutal with Sunday, Zorp, St Truiden, and Benitos and still may have all 4 teams finish with 8+ wins.
Hawk League
Top teams: FBU Heat, One Man Gangbang, OG GLB
Very similar resume to Grizzly - 5 teams in the top 50 right now, always one of the best average ranks. FBU, OMG, OG GLB, and Montreal blue knights are all 28th or higher, and one of them isn't making the playoffs. Alpha is the brutal division here - #40 MEM is 4-4-2 and isn't making the playoffs.
Wolf League
Top teams: Rocky Mountain Reapers, Seattle Seahawks, TT's Wolfpack
4 teams in the top 50; 2 of them top 15, and that's with having early morning losses already. Could easily place 2 teams in the top 10 at season's end, but not as deep as Grizzly and Hawk. There's certainly no "division of death" in this league.
Crocodile League
Top teams: Doinitin Djibouti, Carolina Pirates
3 teams in the top 50, but DD and Carolina are top 10, and DD may finish today at #1. No depth at all but two of the game's best performing teams right now are in Crocodile.
Grizzly and Hawk are the legit top league candidates to me, and it's pretty close. Funday's success puts Grizzly over the top for me (and perhaps having players on teams in Grizzly).
