If you just watch a few plays, you will notice my team (against 2WR) is repeatedly running the 3DL 2CB blitz play...

This is just one of 6 plays in the playbook, and they all have the max play frequency thing....

I just want to know why the sim decided to run this play like it was the only shit we had.

I haven't played around with the coordinating at all, but maybe this will help someone who has figure it out.

Looks like you only ran 2 plays against 2WR all game - DB Strike, which is a short pass/run man defense blitz (the 3DL 2CB blitz play you noticed) and Cover 2 Man Under, a 4-3 medium pass/run man defense.
What types of plays are your other 4 plays, what were your tactics looking like? Seems like something was causing only those two plays to be picked by the tactics.

Is it the only blitz? BC if it's the only blitz and the blitz freq was 100 that would be why.

blitz % is 0 for everything outside of "Very short" and goalline,

and no, that is not why even when it was 100 it didn't do this.

RNGed then, it happens unfortunately sometimes.

There's no way it's "RNGed". There must have been 30+ 2WR plays run and they were ALL just those two D plays, and about 75% were DB Strike. One of the other 4 plays should have been called at least once in that game if it were just an awkward RNG.

Either a bug, or some unexpected interaction, but who knows. If it's a bug it's not happening enough for anyone to fix anything.

DB strike is a blitz... so obviously blitz % was higher than 0%. Unless your very short is 10 yards

You had 6 plays for 2 WR sets. Was DB Strike the only play that matched your tactics for the game? Did your tactics call for Short pass in most situations? Was this the only play that would fire for runs with a high run percentage?

There are ways to trip a play to occur, as the coding behind the tactics has some intuitive knowledge. I'm not giving away that secret just yet, though. Wait until I win teh GLBz.

As your hint, think about why the other plays aren't being called.
