Some control over how often the qb holds blockers back would be nice
Maybe a way to tie it to performance like if you've given up 2/4/6/8 sacks you are likely to tell x players to block
Perhaps an option to or to not be able to hold the target of the play as a blocker

Right, but if you're having trouble with a 4 man rush you stop putting five guys out on routes even if there's no blitz
So there should be a way to say i want an average of 4 players running routes and 1 blocking on any given play
Or do that after 2 sacks and go to 3 after 6 sacks

Are we even sure it's a vision check against the blitz? Since you know .... it NEVER happens.

It didn't work right away on the test server either until Bort fixed it. So there could be something wrong with the transfer over here. I don't currently use it at all but it is definitely a vision check against the blitz.

Without the vision attribute what is used to 'check' against the blitz? Pocket evasive has the closest meaning?

It would be really nice if there was SOME way to say "hey I know my offense has trouble pass blocking and I'd like to be able to keep in an extra blocker against a 3, 4, and 5 man rush to help double-team some rushers"
At least, I assume holding a blocker doesn't kick in until after they rush more than you have on the line? Which would explain why I've never seen a blocker be held in.

Might be nice to know how it's supposed to work - bhall, what kinds of rushes would blockers be held in on? 5+, 6+? 3+ to one side? Something else?

I haven't really done any tactics setting though so I don't know if the extra control of holding in blockers would make certain aspects of the game unfair to the defense. At the very least you'd be able to build a blocking only FB and hold him in 100% or something I guess? I dunno if knowing the FB doesn't need to be covered would help the D out in gameplanning, I don't think we have the plays to really use that sort of thing, but not sure.

I would guess Pass Awareness but Pocket Evasive could make some sense too.

I can't remember the determining factor in it. I want to say 5+.

Plus it has never worked well for CB blitzing so I would say it would be safe to assume the same over here.

Naw that is just breaking sacks. That wouldn't be anything to do with seeing the blitz.
