So glb1, acceleration is almost completely the domain of the speed attribute. In glb2 is it Sprinting or Quickness?

In GLB2, acceleration is a function of a lot of skills, including Sprinting, Quickness, Pursuit, and Conditioning. Probably others. Use your 40 time for the metric.

It is quickness, snap reaction, and First step first and foremost. Sprinting is just your top speed. Conditioning is your ability to keep a constant speed.

Pursuit is thought to definitely help from getting after a ball carrier quicker but it is just a theory at this point. It is the force behind Closing Speed so it makes sense though. It has nothing to do with your 40 time metric though. Only Sprinting, Quickness, and Conditioning change your 40.

Sprinting: Topend speed
Quickness: Ability to not lose speed when changing direction
Snap Reaction: Ability to reach top speed quickly from the snap of the ball
First Step: Ability to reach top speed quickly from a dead stop (also counting the snap of the ball)
Conditioning: Ability to maintain top speed

Now, this is more of a question. Does Route Technique for WRs also add to the ability to not lose speed when running routes? Or is that exclusively Quickness?

Reading the float over descriptions makes it seem like Route Technique shouldnt have anything to do with loseing speed but Quickness and perhaps even Footwork
