I know I've read a thread or two of ideas to keep everyone engaged on the off-day. I would like to suggest just a team practice "game" or drills with offense and defense against each other,

It can be set up to allow a coordinators to test several plays on both sides of the ball and let players have something to watch on off days other than pick up games.

You can allow a morale boost when those couple plays are run during a game following this practice or nothing at all. But, it seems like something that could be easy to implement, helpful for coordinators and fun for everyone.

Sorry if this was suggested elsewhere and I didn't see it.

I usually just call it 'the day bort makes money on scrimmages because people play this to watch football not wait for tomorrow' day, but it's too long for the subject line.

1 day isn't a long wait. It gives coordinators time to gameplan if they want to also. Adding "Practices" Would only make the people with loads of time to spend do better at the game while leaving those who play casually behind, and while that's fair, it would be detrimental to the overall fun of the game.
Edit: It is a pretty good idea, but whe you think about how it would affect the game as a whole it goes against what we are trying to do with GLB2.

I honestly am a bit surprised. So what essentially we are saying is, it's too big of an advantage to give someone with a lot of time some plays to look at with their offense and defense on the off-day, but it's not too big an advantage if you have time and money to pay for all the scrimmages you want and watch that?

Look the big spenders make this game go. I'm cool with them getting the advantages they get. Without them, we aren't here. All I'm saying is give someone with an extra 10 minutes on the off day a chance to watch like 5 plays run in a practice just among the team. I'm not saying the practice should be like an entire scrimmage game or anything.

The addition of the pickup games was great so the casual gamer could watch their player get in an extra game everyday. Didn't seem like such a stretch to ask for a little something extra for a coordinator to do on an off day if they want it. All I'm saying folks.

Ok new idea. Players can play in one pickup game free each day. I then propose a person can have their tactics and playbook used in one pickup game a day the same way a player can play in it.
