My team is breaking off from my organization due to lack of agent support and is now becoming independent. The Jonesboro Redbirds are an homage to my first ownership when I owned back in Oceanica in the early GLB. Boy have things changed since then too! I remember getting PMs from agents begging for a roster spot....

We will be going completely no/no and hopefully will still remain very competitive while playing the cheap way.

Thanks,
Brad

good luck in s39 and beyond. seems a lot more teams/organizations will be in a similar situation before too long

I remember my first Pro coordinating gig like 30 seasons ago was in Oceanic league and it went pretty poorly

I agree with you in that GLB seems to be struggling as most of the common folk are leaving to GLB2 or Madden lol. I think it will still go on though with us purists who love this style of game.

I never had more fun in GLB than owning back in Oceanica. There was always a full league of owned teams and full rosters. I seriously got PMs daily for guys asking to play on special teams if necessary. GLB was at its best then.

Thanks for your GL wishes. Same to you! Merry Christmas!

I don't expect that from my squad, but I guess you never know!

It isn't just that. I could fill up a roster, but finding guys that are active and willing to contribute is the hardest part. Last season I had 17 inactives going into the first round; of course HG will hammer me. I can't work with that.

I just decided I'd rather take the hit of being no/no then being inactive.

yeah but think of how much fun and competitive it would be again ...would encourage others to get involved! ...I don't think that you would need to worry too much about the boosters, but the CEQs ...should just buy CEQs imo ...it a fair price to pay for each season tbh!

No doubt it would be alot more competitive. Most people probably couldnt do much with a no no team outside of a couple of the pwg elite group with other teams boosting.

I really agree with this. I've said it before, no matter whether everyone boosts or goes no/no, the teams at the top now would still probably be at the top.
