Warrior General Games

Used to do this back in the day in GLB and people enjoyed it. This is a quick one, as I'm short on time....but enjoy/hate!

NWA @ Portland......Naggers come into this game off of an unimpressive loss in Game 1 against Northwest, followed by a blowout of Drunken State University of Scorpion League in their Ladder Match. Portland tied Wu Dang 7-7.
Portland 24-6. Why? because with dead people and politicians in the lineup, NWA has no chance.

Game of the week? Northwest Storms @ Wu Dang......Game 1, Northwest beat up NWA. Wu Dang tied Portland. Both teams look to be close in all areas, and both have explosive offensives. This could be another close game/tie, or a blowout either way.
Wu Dang...draws again.Final score 14-14 Why? Because. GLB2 seems to like ties, and a 2 game tie streak just seems cool.

Wolverhampton @ Tulsa......Both teams appear to play good defensively, but when will Tulsa get their offense going in League play?
Wolverhampton 21-7 Not today, as QB Coby Knapp and the Warlocks roll.

Valsgarde @ Hartford......Not much to say here. Hartford is 1-0 and has one of the best defenses in the league. Valsgarde is 0-1, and possibly planning for season 2 already. Hartford wins....

Mongolian Horde @ Black Ice.......The Horde has put together what could be the league's best team on paper and are already 1-0. Black Ice at 0-1, may not look as impressive, but appears to be better balanced. Black Ice en Fuego pulls the upset of the week with a 16-4 win over the Horde....

Vermont @ Rhode Island.....Will anyone outside of the U.S. Northeast pay attention to this game? The answer is no, but Rhode Island wins 21-0.

ehh....figure with the way this sim has gone so far, the Valsgarde QB will fumble a snap, the center will recover, take it 8 yards and fumble, then the RG will recover and take it 72 yards for a TD. Extra point blocked.

NW is still trying to understand the meaning of offense as well.

Thanks for the write up! Always enjoyed folks doing write ups. Makes the league more entertaining.

Lol....just caught what you guys were saying there. I was in the process of waking up with a Red Bull when I wrote that....should have been a "may" in there somewhere. lol. That or I was thinking both offenses would simply blow up and end 14-14 on defensive and ST touchdowns.

And this is definitely still new, so this is more predicting and guessing than going off of any kind of stats or history.

Horde messed up my upset pick, and Northwest/Wu Dang really screwed my tie up. that's what makes this entertaining though.
But I will try to get one up for week 3 in the next day or so.
