If I build an experienced player on the last day of the season will the tiers he passes automatically count towards Superstar, or does the dot have to actually exist when the tier is passed to count towards Superstar?
Forum > Goal Line Blitz 2 > So is there a work-around to the superstar system? Can't I just wait until the end of the season to get my points?

Don't hate the player, hate the game.
Being a Season 2 superstar in this game is going to be like being a Season 1 Dot in GLB1 that was patient enough to not boost to level 4 right away. I'm surprised I haven't seen more people doing it.
I don't see why you couldn't build an experienced positional at the equivalent of day 38, play the one game you needed to hit sophomore and get your point. Honestly it seems more reliable than hoping none of your players miss a game or get screwed.

Doesn't really seem like gaming the system. You could build them right now, don't boost them, and let them play games to get the same effect. Your refund at retirement will be the same either way. Whichever. Hooray, you didn't have to login on the exact right Saturday to get all the same benefits!
I'd rather learn what works for a few before I get my hands on a SS player.

This. And if you retire them right away you will still get the same flex back because you chose for them to be experienced. Also it will ruin your chem, and you assume that you can sign new players in playoffs (I don't know if and when rosters lock in GLB2).
Nice try though.

Yeah, they were giving away unlimited Superstars on the test server. It was like free candy.

Having superstars for this season has nothing to do with what I was thinking. I was thinking you could get the full flex refund because your player was less than 5 days old, sounds like experienced players forgo the full flex refund though, figured there was something blocking it.

Step one: Find work around that can't be attempted for at least a month.
Step two: Tell everyone about it.
Step three: Profit?

that makes no sense, sort of like your obscene obsession with superstars.

Pretty sure this is the first post I've made about superstars. Are you obsessed with people who are obsessed with superstars?
