on the defensive plays it just shows a bunch of ppl standing there. how do i know what man theyre covering?

What do you mean? Is it a specific play?

You can view the playcall, you can usually determine from that.

its every player in man coverage... theyre just lined up with no lines or anything. how do i know if theyre covering a TE,FB,WR or HB?

Are you meaning in the playbook? Depends on formation vs. formation. But yeah I see what you're saying.

I'm wondering what happens in a cover 2 base 4-3 against an I formation play that sends both the FB and RB one way

Majority of plays I've watched have the LOLB taking the RB and the ROLB taking the FB... Not sure if it's consistent enough for me to prove but they even cross paths to cover their assignments where it would've been easier to just switch.

That sounds right. Dates back to the early GLB days.

if i m not mistaken, a few times my OLB came across a formation to cover. hard to tell with a clusterfuck of ppl running into eachother but that just seems wrong.
